Frequently asked questions

Who is PsychoLoop for?

For mental health professionals and clinics worldwide. The system supports both a single practitioner and a clinic with multiple specialists, locations and reception staff.

Is clinical documentation encrypted?

Yes. Clinical documentation and report attachments are encrypted in the browser before they reach the server. The content key is wrapped separately for each authorised device, and the server stores only ciphertext.

How is data from different clinics separated?

Every tenant row is isolated by PostgreSQL row-level security policies. Isolation is enforced by the database, not by application code alone.

Does the system help meet GDPR obligations?

It includes data-subject request handling, retention schedules, data export and the Article 30 record of processing activities. The audit log is append-only and protected by database triggers.

Which languages does the application support?

The interface and the legal document library are available in 23 languages across 29 regional locales.

How do patients complete tests and forms?

The specialist sends the patient an individual, secure link to a test or form. The patient completes it without creating an account; the answers are saved in the system and are immediately visible to the specialist.

Can the calendar connect to Google Calendar or Microsoft 365?

Yes, in read-only mode. The integrations import external calendar busy time to prevent scheduling conflicts. PsychoLoop never writes to the external calendar.

Does the application work on a phone?

Yes. The interface is responsive and installs as a progressive web app. A native shell for iOS and Android is prepared for store release.

Where is the data processed?

The architecture is built around regional cells, and transfer impact assessment is carried out per country. The specific processing location is stated in the data processing agreement and on the legal pages.
